HONEY CHILE is an independent media + production company, run by Black women, that develops, creates, and produces content by, for, or about Black women 40+.
"Whoever tried to condition women to feel that we are supposed to feel old or unhappy when we turn 40 got it ALL THE WAY F'd up. This has absolutely been the best I've felt in my life. I'm so grateful to be GROWN, GROWN." — BEYONCÉ
LOOK BACK AT IT
The proof of concept for our first feature film! It’s written and directed by our Head Honey Felicia Pride.
The logline: A forty-something single mother gets her groove back with a little assistance from her teenage daughter.
We shot #LookBackMovie in Baltimore in August 2022 and are currently on the festival circuit.

Chile, Please™ Podcast
Black women over 40 are out here defying odds, grabbing happiness, and living unapologetically. Hosted by Felicia Pride, writer and pleasure seeker, and Ivy Grant, corporate strategist and self-indulger in training, “Chile, Please” is a personal and fearless exploration of the pleasures and pains of being Black and women of a certain age. It’s the sister talk that hoots and hollers, testifies and satisfies, to remind you that you’re not alone in this.
